Synopsis for "Business Trip" (Nov. 13)
CANADA BOUND—Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) is ecstatic when David Wallace (Andy Buckley) decides to send him on a business trip to Canada. Andy (Ed Helms) and Oscar (Oscar Nunez) become unlikely friends when Michael decides to bring them along on the trip. Meanwhile, Jim (John Krasinski) is counting down the days until Pam (Jenna Fischer) gets back from art school. Rainn Wilson, B.J. Novak, Leslie David Baker, Brian Baumgartner, Kate Flannery, Mindy Kaling, Angela Kinsey, Phyllis Smith and Creed Bratton also star.
MICHAEL IS COMING TO CANADA. THIS. IS. AWESOME. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE STEREOTYPE JOKES TO COME A-ROLLING IN.
(Hey, I wonder if they'll visit Creed's Canadian office?)
Though I love how they're just taking a business trip to "Canada", like it's one small little place. BIG COUNTRY - LOTS OF PROVINCES, CITIES, TOWNS, ETC. - WHERE EXACTLY ARE THEY GOING?
Yeah, it'll probably be Toronto, or somewhere thereabouts if they specify it at all, but how cool would it be if they visited Nova Scotia??!! I'm just sayin'. ;DDD

The fic takes those doodads that Jim put in Pam's Christmas present in season two, and creates the back story behind them. And they are awesome and hilarious and glorious in their Jim and Pam goodness! Seriously. The boggle timer story is inspired.

So, not Nova Scotia, but still pretty awesome. Michael's going to think of it as the Scranton of Canada. OH LORD.
