I love Erica, but one of the biggest problems I have with the human Fifth Column like her and Father Jack is that I never QUITE bought their motivation for resisting the V. Like--obviously it's justified, but when it began it was just sort of born out of suspicion and distrust. And Erica and Jack both just wound up at the first Fifth Column meeting accidentally and... I'm not explaining myself well AT ALL, but. I get someone like Ryan joining: he knows what Anna can do, and Georgie is in it for revenge for his family (although we were still never told WHY the Vs killed them) Hobbes is a merc for hire and being ambiguous is kind of his thing right now anyway. But Erica and Jack both just thought the V might be up to no good and they happened to be right. I don't know. But it's why the V characters are more interesting to me right now. They're the ones who are really invested in fighting Anna, and are the ones who immediately have more to lose.
Wow I'm being wordy. I guess all that to say I'm REALLY looking forward to finding out what the Vs did to Erica when she was pregnant. It'll somehow invest her story as a resistor for me more? IDK. Meanwhile, she can adopt Lisa and they can have awesome Mommy-Lizard Princess times together. :D
