Happy Labour Day, everyone! Hope you're enjoying the day off. Actually, is it Labour Day in the States? Maybe not. But have a happy one anyway if you're there.
I finally got to see The Fall last night, which I've been waiting for what seems like forever to see. TOTALLY WORTH IT. Certainly one of the most beautiful and visually stunning films I've ever seen, but what really blew me away in the end was, well, what everyone else seems to be talking about.
( Ramblings about the awesomeness of Alexandria )
So I'm going to clamour for everyone going to see The Fall. I was *slightly* disappointed that Nurse Evelyn wasn't in it more, but that's mainly just because I love Justine Waddell. But I'll just watch Wives and Daughters again and be happy.
I also saw Brideshead Revisited recently, and that too was supremely, supremely awesome. The story, the costumes, the mood of it all. And Emma Thompson can do no wrong. I'm pretty positive.
