I HAVE BEEN CONCERNED ABOUT THIS and my current headcanon (haven’t watched last nights eps yet) is that he’s fine and peacefully coexisting with the bugs.

I think since we know his head didn’t explode his bugs quickly realized that chilling inside a cat, getting to nap all day and chase jingly toys around the place, was a lot more fun than causing havoc on Capitol Hill.

Given that nothing contradicted my idea when I saw the episodes, gonna assume that Zeke the cat is fine and rode out the entire bug crisis with serenity.
