Fall tv is starting up again, and I want to get into the swing of things by actually talking about all the amazing shows that I enjoy far too much. And so I was going to talk about Bones starting season five, and how this show makes me just about the happiest fan EVER, but instead I think I'll just link to this FANTASTIC review that Hart Hanson talked about on Twitter. Written by an 11-year-old. Who has never seen an episode before.

She [Bones] had a bad day, she was in a dark cave all by herself, she couldn't get anybody to stay in the cave with her. They were all too scared. A witch kept following her around trying to get her to play cards with her.

(I've also been watching a lot of season four episodes this weekend, and gosh, someone needs to make an homage to Cam's facial expressions. She is the best straight-man pathologist ever.)

YES! Her face is made of win, it's so expressive but never in a mean way. She is Empress of the lab! Also, she knows Brennan so well that instead of just hugging her, she asks first (even though she gets turned down).

There's got to be a Cam picspam out there somewhere. All Hail, Supreme Empress of the Lab and all that. She's just so collected. And poised. And constantly quietly amused by everything. Plus Tamara Taylor's from Toronto as well, so... win!

I LOVE IT SO. IT IS BASICALLY FANFIC ON TV, BUT IN ALL THE BEST WAYS.

I love the different pov of the kid's review. Of course Cyndi Lauper was a witch. I'm blind for not seeing it before. ;)

I second Nina: need to watch Bones! I have the first season, just need to watch it. But obvs Chuck s2 needs to happen first so I can bask in the OTP and dream about that ‘She's A Genius’ vid I want so badly.

I liked the episode but I was a bit put off by the witch cards thing. I mean, obviously Cyndi Lauper is a mystical being in real life, but in Bonesland there is no supernatural element. The only times they've done anything like that it's been a Booth-tumor thing. But now he's fine... right? Unless they're trying to give us a clue that he still hasen't woken up or something cheap like that.

I also thought it was wierd that Cam and Sweets said identical things about Bones to Booth regarding whether or not to tell her he loves her. (ie hard shell, squishy interior, you must be sure or bad things will happen)

And did anyone else find it strange that Sweets would suggest that Booth being in love with her was a side effect of the surgery, since he (and I quote) "did not love her before" when really, Sweets has suspected they love each other for a long time. He was pushing at the two of them all last season to own up to it but they never got what he was driving at.

And on an unrelated note, where the hell did all the lab assistants go? Vincent Nigel-Murray??

I dunno, this episode just felt sloppy and kind of all over the place. I was dissappointed.
