HEY REMEMBER THAT TIME THAT JIM AND PAM GOT MARRIED?

"I knew we'd need a back-up plan."

"The boat was actually Plan C."

"The church was Plan B."

"And Plan A was marrying her a long, long time ago."

"Pretty much the day I met her."

Jim Halpert, ladies and gentlemen. He's still got it.

(And we can talk about all the traumatic stuff like Dwight's CD, and Kevin's feet, and Michael hooking up with Pam's mum later. But for now--Jim and Pam got married. There is no way this couldn't make me happy.)

OH BUT LASTLY:

Jim and Pam got married in Canada! Kind of. ...Let me have this one, 'kay? ;D

Oh, man, look at that! It's so much better in picspam form, when there is an uninterrupted stream of Jim and Pam!

(also, hah, I love the one random lady grinning off to the side in the second picture. I'm going to pretend that's Pam's more awesome grandma)

You know, by and large I was pretty damn pleased with it. Yeah, there were some horribly traumatic awkward parts--but they really weren't bad as they could be considering this show. I loved Jim's speech, I loved how horrified he was at his own slip--I loved Phyllis and Bob grinning to themselves during Michael's speech as they remembered their own wedding. YUP. I LOVED IT.

Yes! I love her too. I wonder if they just got random tourists at Niagara to be extras that day. Because sign me up next time.)

I've seen quite a bit of whining and complaining online about different parts of this episode, but over all, I loved it. I love that we got the crazy, cringe-inducing wedding but that at the same time Jim and Pam had their special moments. The whole Chris Brown Youtube Reenactment was all WTF? at first but by the end of it, I was smiling like a crazy person, especially when they cut to the scenes on the boat.

And Jim. Oh Jim. As unfair as I think it is to hold fictional characters up as as a gold standard for boyfriend/fiance/husbandness, he is just too adorable and heart-melting when it comes to his love for Pam. Seriously. Everyone needs a Jim.

They got married by the CANADIAN falls, therefore it was Canada. END OF STORY.

AND OMG THE LITTLE LOVE-STRUCK SMILES THAT JIM SHOOTS AT THE CAMERA ARE UTTERLY MADE OF FLAIL AND WIN AND *CLUTCHES HEART*.

And Jen says hi. :)

Hello! I'm, uh, looking for new friends and we seem to have a few things in common. I am currently very obsessed with Ashes to Ashes/Keeley Hawes and saw also in your interests Life on Mars, Doctor Who, His Dark Materials (!!!), etc. Also, we have a couple of friends in common. I'm going to add you, if that's okay. Add me back? :)

LOL, late comment is late.

BUT I AGREE WITH [livejournal.com profile] xtinethepirate. The Maid of the Mist is only in Canada, the States don't have it (so they'd have had to cross the border). ALSO: we have the pretty horseshoe side of the falls!!

WHEE CANADA! WHEE PICSPAMS! WHEE JIM/PAM!
