small thrill of victory

-It's nice watching the Leafs win for once (with my new CBC access! W00t!), even if I know that somewhere [livejournal.com profile] goldy_dollar is gritting her teeth and cursing my name for mentioning it (*waves* ILU!). STILL, they really suck now hardly ever do well, so it's refreshing. Especially if one *cough*is actually a born-and-bred Torontonian*cough*. Now if they could actually make the playoffs for once...

-Against my better judgement, I've started to watch the new season of LOST. The letters W, T and F still at the forefront of my viewing experience. Seriously - all I want out of the show is one more Jack/Kate make-out session. Is that really too much to ask AFTER FOUR YEARS? I should really just wait for the DVDs and save myself the trouble. Too bad I don't have the self-control.

-I just watched someone stamp out "I ♥ YOU BECCA" in the snow outside my building. It's really adorable. Real life wins the cute award tonight.

YAY LEAFS! I, too, am a born Torontonian, and since my dad was as well, I have been appropriately indoctrinated in the Leafs appreciation. *GLEEE FOR WINNAGE* They always get hit with bad luck and injuries. *woes*

BUT DUDE DUDE DUDE I GOTTA JUMP ALL OVER YOUR FANDOM HERE FOR A MO BECAUSE SPN. SPN. OMG. DEAN! AH! GAH! *FLAILS* Thought you would want to know.

And omg, that is the most adorable trulife moment of the year so far. Unless, of course, he is stamping that out in apology for sleeping with her best friend. Who is a guy too. You never know. ^_^

(here, have some different plant life)

GO LEAFS GO. I really hope they can get it together soon. Individually the team has SUCH GOOD PLAYERS but then they go all... blarghyblehblheh... and yeah, I'll stop pretending to know sports. ;) But I'm hoping for a hockey miracle: like the Sens drop off the face of the earth (heh heh heh) and the Leafs make the playoffs and WIN and life would be glorius.

(yes, yes, fandom. Yay, SPN, la la)

I love it when real life proves itself to be just as good (and therefore better) than scripted life. And there's no mitigating circumstances to the snow message. Just true love in my backyard. FACT! *nods*

Unless the Sens drop off the face of the earth, we'll never be able to look Katie in the face again, you realize.

And I have decided that mitigating factors might have been wrong. In truth, it was a modern-day reenactment of the Shelley/Byron love. Had you waited a moment longer, said snow artist would have started stomping bad, clingy, weepy poetry. TRUFAX.

Blech, I don't care. STUPID BLOODY SENS! Katie can cheer for the Leafs instead. ;D

the Leafs make the playoffs and WIN and life would be glorius.
Can you imagine the chaos in TOronto is that happened? Cars would be flipped, stores would be looted, it'd be one big yelling-drinking-celebrating orgy of fans! I bet the streets would be shut down for two days!

Heh. I will definitely try to be there if when it happens. ;)

LOL, there has been always a big WTF in my mind everytime I watched Lost, but I think that's the point of the show, I think that the title has more to do with the fact that you feel completely lost while watching it, than with the people lost in the island. But I'm not a Lost lover anymore, so I should just shut up.

I just watched someone stamp out "I ♥ YOU BECCA" in the snow outside my building

Awww, how sweet!!! ♥

Yeah, I stopped watching the show completely last season, just because I was so sick of being strung along without any answers (and because it looked like my ship had sunk for good ;)). But now... well it's on, though I may only give it a few more episodes. If only something AWESOME like Pushing Daisies was back on the air. *g*

Love declarations in the snow FTW!

OH TOTAL BURN ON FRANCES LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

And writing in the snow is how my graduate resident tutors (like RAs) proposed to each other! Marianne just ran outside and wrote, "JASON WILL YOU MARRY ME" -- it was totally cute.

:D

(They're married now!)

Yeah, I felt a bit bad writing it - but my "HAHA, TAKE THAT HABS!" side won. She knows I love her. I think she knows... *g*

Aw, that is really lovely. Snow has good uses afterall! I just need to find someone I can write snow messages to. ;)
