um... *blink blink*... oh frak

And here I was hoping for another pun on "Tigh". Not so much.

Dudes, that shit was crazy. While I've never been Cally's greatest fan (I think they're a small conglomerate) I didn't exactly wish that on her. I would've been content with Sharon putting the smack down on her but... *shudders*

Tory has definitely picked something up from Roslin in all the time they've spent together. Good ol' Airlock!OTP. Does she terrify anyone else now? Yeah? I thought so.

Few other things:
-It doesn't matter how tense things are politically/tactically between the president and Adama, Bill will still come and read to Laura in the sickbay. BECAUSE HE LOVES HER. My heart... soars with the eagle!
-Oh, Lee. Good on you. But the president is SO no longer the head of the Captain Apollo Fan Club. I did like Zarek's acknowledgment that while Laura Roslin's policies may be increasingly undemocratic, she's doing it out of concern for her people, not to gain more power.
-So, I hope we get more focus on what's happening on the Demetrius, because we really didn't get more than a taste. Kara's frakked in the head, but I maintain that's not really new. How happy is Gaeta, though, to have pulled that duty. Helo must have been indulging his sadistic humour side when he made the roster.
-Speaking of, both Helo and Sharon are there? WHAT ABOUT THEIR BAAAAABY? Ahem. (I just like my fighting Agathons together! More scenes with them, plzkthnx.)
-BOOMER AND CAVILL? EWWWWWWWWW. Honey, that's just gross. And man, do those cylons have issues now. What a betrayal. Does that mean all the Sixes and Eights and Leobens were destroyed without resurrection? Or just a huge swathe of them. Either way... yikes!

ETA:

Just some bits of the detective novel Bill was reading to Laura. Because it was cheesy and oh so utterly beautiful.

...All that we are, all that we think we are, all that we're certain about is taken away from us... From the moment I open my eyes she's in my blood, like cheap wine - bitter and sweet, tinged with regret. I'll never be free of her, nor do I want to be. For she is what I am. All that is, she'll always be.

*SNIFFS*

I think Eddie Olmos has to come and read to me now.

You know, it didn't even occur to me that Helo and Sharon had left Hera on her own. You just automatically think, "Yay, Helo and Sharon on a mission." Maybe they have a daycare on board Galactica?

But Adama reading to Laura. Yes, that scene was nice and simple and really sweet. No one even says anything; no "thanks for coming" or "how are you feeling?" Adama showing up and reading that book makes it clear. At first it was a little funny since it seemed Adama was reading a hardboiled detective fiction book (hee, they have detective fiction), but then the words have a deeper meaning, too.

I bet a heavy raider or something made it off one of the base ships before they were destroyed. That Six, Natalie she's being called, seems to have a significant role this season.

Well, I may spend too much time obsessing over the Agathons ('cause I love them!) and we have been told that there is daycare on Galactica, it just seems harsh to abandon your TRAUMATIZED (remember the nightmares?) toddler in daycare while you go off on a mission with no discernable end-date. I mean, "find Earth" seems kida open ended, doesn't it?

I love that it was hardboiled detective fiction Adama was reading, because in some of their first scenes together ("Water", I think) they talk about their mutual weakness for cheesy mysteries. That's where we get the "it's a gift, not a lend" scene between Roslin and Adama. It's just such a nice way of tieing the beginning of their relationship to where they are now.

Hmm, good point about the heavy raider. I just really interested to see where this story is going to go now. Cylons LOVE blowing stuff up, don't they? ;)
