APATHY IS BORING

IF YOU ARE CANADIAN AND YOU HAVEN'T DONE SO ALREADY THEN TODAY'S THE DAY TO VOTE. WHATEVER THE RESULTS, THIS ELECTION WILL HAVE HISTORICAL VOTER TURNOUT, SHOWING OUR LEADERS THAT WE DO HAVE A VOICE, WE DO CARE, AND WE WILL MAKE OURSELVES HEARD. GIVEN THE NEWS IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW, THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO REALIZE HOW PRIVILEGED WE ARE TO LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHERE DEMOCRACY IS A RIGHT. EXERCISE IT. VOTE.

That poll is the best. I did really want to vote again. Mainly because it was a bit anticlimactic in that there were no trumpets or cheerleaders or, like, "Good for You, You Voted!" cookies. ;D

I think if nothing else I could make democracy more fun.

Oooh, I might borrow this banner to post on buzz. I think I've got most of my friends voting, but I need to prod my baby sister a bit more. It's her first time voting.

I have to wait until after work until I can vote (so probably long lines) but I don't care, I love checking that box!
