Feeling random is cool. If a bit random.
There is not enough banana yoghurt in the world. Or at least there isn't at my grocery store. There's banana-strawberry, which is still good, but no just banana. They have no banana. I might cry.
Small spoiler for Torchwood 2x03
1) Yes, I'm watching it. Despite not being able to watch more than ten minutes of the first season eps before wanting to turn them off, this season is... intriguing me. At least I'm not as irritated by the characters as I was.
2) BUT: When Jack was reading the report from 1918 that said there was a girl with a Union Jack, I REALLY thought that was a reference to Rose for a minute. Until I realized that a) Rose wasn't wearing the Union Jack shirt in Cardiff and b) wrong war. Still, it was an exciting minute for me! And I still bet it was some kind of veiled allusion to Rose. Because Rose is amazing. The end.
The roommate and I bought a tv yesterday, as our old one and its lack of ability to play DVDs (poor thing's older than I am) finally drove us to it. Thank goodness for university classifieds and people moving out of res wanting to offload their stuff ASAP. But, not only does our new tv play DVDs (yay), it ALSO gets us two more channels with the bunny ears for some reason. Before we could only get CTV (at least we could watch Pushing Daisies. When it was on. WOE) but now we get Global AND the CBC! THREE WHOLE CHANNELS! (That's only one less than we had with normal cable in NZ) I can watch the news! And hockey! And Rick Mercer! These are exciting times.
And tonight I'm going over to my friends' to watch the Superbowl. And while I love the company, I can't say football exactly tickles my fancy. So I'm bringing my knitting. You so know who's going to be the coolest cat at that party. Oh yeah. ;)

I'm so not a football person but I'm curious to see who wins... I'll probably catch a full 10 minutes of the game total... I also want to see the new House afterwards... I'm hoping for no overtime ;)

Yeah, football (and sports in general) are not my thing, but it's still somewhat fun in a group. And no overtime! Hope you enjoyed the House! Oh, Hugh Laurie.
*runs off to watch Jeeves and Wooster*
