From an interview here with Craig Horner (Richard, on Legend of the Seeker) on the relationship between Richard and Kahlan:

"We kind of have a Buffy/Angel kind of relationship where the whole point is that we really can’t get together. We really want to and those feeling aren’t going away. But we push the boundaries in some upcoming episodes and really that’s all I can say.

BWAH! BUFFY AND ANGEL! I FEEL SO, SO CONFIRMED. :DDD

And also: *points at Craig* NERD!!!!!!!!

Hee hee, my love for that boy has just expanded a LOT. I feel the need to go giggle gleefully somewhere.

And "push the boundaries" totally means sex. I called it. *G*

You know it's been months since I've posted about Pushing Daisies, and that is a depressing thought. I'm pleased as punch that some of my favourite shows, like The Office and Battlestar and Doctor Who, are all coming back within the next month, but there's not going to be any new NED and CHUCK and OLIVE and EMERSON and DIGBYYYYYYYYY! until next fall, and it's just a hard wait.

SO WATCH THIS INTERVIEW WITH ANNA FRIEL AND LEE EFFING PACE. It'll make you feel better. ;D

ANNA: "I first of all loved the fact that my character was called Chuuook [I'm trying to approximate her awesome Northern accent, bear with me]. I was like: 'I wanna play a girl called Chuuook!' It doesn't sound quite as good in
American with the whole Chuck [she switches to her American accent here and even does a tiny ditzy hair flip... 'cause she's awesome]. I like my 'uuoo'."
LEE EFFING PACE: "Heh heh heh!"

ANNA: "We've got adjoining trailers so we'll get the scripts at the same time - actually the hair and make-up people get them first-"
L.E.P.: "-And we steal them."

ANNA: "It's driven very strongly by a love story, of a romance of two people who just long to be together... [she looks into the camera] and long to be able to have sex but they never will be able to!! [looks at L.E.P.] ...Together."

L.E.P.: "Kristin Chenoweth plays the waitress at the Piehole"
ANNA: "She's wonderful."
L.E.P.: "She's wonderful, a great schemey, fun character-"
ANNA: "And she's got great breasts!"

So yeah... it's a pretty fun interview. ;) And they both look gorgeous, even if I think facial hair is not such a good look on Lee effing Pace, but that may be because I'm horribly biased towards Ned and his fluffy hair, and kicked puppy faces and heart-melting smiles and... *ahem*.

This of course then inspired me to skedaddle over to Youtube to watch a whole slew of my favourite PD-moments, like our first emotional heimlich scene, and the cellophane, and "What do you need to be happy?" (which, how it manages to shake utter!cheesy and become absolutely perfect, I'll never know, but I'm glad it does) and a certain heart-breaking scene from the last episode at Christmas (*sniff*) that I apparently don't have the self-control not to transcribe.

But I will perform a small mercy and put it behind a cut )

I have done two and three quarters of the five essays I have due by the fourth. I really need a fast-forward button. Or someone to give me an emotional heimlich. I think I'll go get one now.

New favouritest thing in the world is a quotation from Lee Pace in this interview he did with Anna Friel. LEE EFFING PACE:

Pies are very hard to make. I'm still on graham-cracker crust, filling it with whipped cream and Butterfingers. It's very hard, but it's not as difficult as touching something back to life.

FLPGSWGGYLRGKH!!!!

Yeah. I'm sorry. But those of you not watching Pushing Daisies --- DO!!!!!!!!! Please. ;)
hjea: (PD-cellophane FTW!)
Midterms turn on the inspiration like a tap. And of course, Ned and Chuck are inspiring in their own way. ;) Now, if only they would inspire me to write that Wordsworth paper. Hmm...

Anyway, kinda what I imagine their mornings could be like )

And in the interests of spreading Lee Pace adorableness throughout the world, check out this (scroll down a bit) interview he did with Kristin Veitch (yes granted, she can be a bit annoying, but it's Lee Pace). She also interviews Anna Friel, whose accent makes me lament the fact that Chuck isn't British, and Kristin Chenoweth, who is as always hilarious. And talks about her crush on Lee Pace. YEAH. I love the PD cast! *squishes them*
hjea: (PD-b/w ned and chuck are effing pretty)
Not that I need to be more obsessed with Pushing Daisies for the moment, but this interview has just made me fall in love with Lee Pace a little bit. Or a little lot. Whichever.

*does the Pushing Daisies dance of joy*
