Jan. 31st, 2010 10:16 pmThis is mainly for the sister's benefit, but in the unlikely event that anyone else is wildly curious about the contents of my wardrobe:

NEW BOOTS!
Something about the combination of a sale, last pair in the store, and they just so happen to fit clearly makes me a rabid materialistic consumer. Yay! ;DDD
Also,
janie_jones_ clued me into the AWESOME fact that Chuck airs on Sunday nights here this season instead of on Mondays. HECK YES, CANADA. But way to chip little bits of my heart away, show. *tears*
Without getting into spoilers, I see similarities between Chuck's storyline this season, and what John Crichton was going through in Farscape. (Hear me out) They both started as these bright, but very innocent guys, and through their journeys in space/spy life, they've had to toughen up and tarnish their souls a bit. And it's necessary to survive, but that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt to watch it happen. *siiighs* OH CHUCK. &hearts &hearts &hearts
(And hey, also this applies to Richard! And um... this is a really common hero trope thing isn't it? Shh.)
